In Jávea and Gata, of course, and all along the coast as well. But above all, it is all of Spain that is proud of these world-renowned craftsmen:
 Toni MARI and José SIGNE.

The one who dresses crowned heads. The Signe fashion house opens its doors to you in Gata de Gorgo, its stronghold.

TONI MARI_edited_edited.png

The artist who decorates the entire Costa Blanca. We set out to find all his local works, right up to his workshop.

Javea’s favourite son, born in 1964, began working at the forge at just 14 years old. He transforms iron into human figures, animals and Mediterranean symbols. Powerful yet refined, his art has become an integral part of the landscape of Xàbia, Moraira and Dénia.

His works have been exhibited in New York, Paris and numerous cities across Spain.

The founding father of Sombreros Signes, now known simply as Signe. The last hatmaker to uphold traditional craftsmanship while embracing new shapes and an ever-expanding range of materials. Internationally renowned, the house operates two made-to-measure boutiques and a single manufacturing workshop.
