El Portet is a cove, accessible until the 1960s by a single 4 km path starting from the village: El camino viejo de El Portet.
At first, smugglers settled there, then houses, mostly belonging to fishermen. Today, the small bay is home to yachts and villas, the most beautiful on the coast. Millionaires and billionaires cruise around in Bentleys and Ferraris.
