To get there, we will get lost in a 2CV in the vineyards of Marina Alta and on the way back down via Benimarco to rejoin the coastal road.

Around the Jalon Valley, three estates stand out, even internationally. I would have loved to offer you a choice of all three (the original idea), but neither the season nor the family-run size of these estates allows it. While this is the case for Les Freses and Pepe Mendoza, the Montesanco estate is an exception.

Montesanco is all about artisanal production, small-batch wines, and above all, a reputation that you wouldn't expect upon arriving in Moraira. They have accumulated gold medals in the most prestigious competitions in Spain and Europe, such as CINVE, Mezquita, Bacchus, Zarcillo, and Challenge du Vin… 47 in total since 1950!
